New process for uploading your designs to the marketplace

We are updating our Publishing Journey in the Partner Area to simplify the publishing of designs and make it more user-friendly. You will receive a notification in the Partner Area when the new process has been activated for you.

What's new?

  • We have simplified the product category selection and summarised it in 3 supercategories. For clothing, you can also select your target group.
  • Products that are added to the range and match your settings are automatically activated for all your designs. Please note that designs are only activated for products on which printing is possible. For you, this means higher sales opportunities without additional effort and manual addition of products.
  • The settings for the presentation of your designs are automatically optimised. This means that you do not have to make any changes. If you want to change the placement or the colour on which your design is to be displayed by default, this is of course still possible.
  • Your designs are automatically displayed in the colour that offers the best contrast.
  • You have the option of using an AI tool for the title, description and tags of your designs. This optimises the findability of your creations.

Why is the process being updated?

The new Journey is easier to use as fewer steps have to be carried out manually. This significantly reduces the effort involved in uploading designs.

Errors that occurred during the old process, such as incorrect placement of designs on products, are eliminated. Thanks to the new smart system, the optimum position is automatically set for you.

The new process is intended to improve the quality of the products available on the marketplace in the long term. The technical changeover will also allow us to activate new features more quickly and flexibly in future.

What do you need to do now?

First things first: All your previously published designs are and will remain available on the marketplace. They retain the settings with which you originally published them.

However, in order to take advantage of the new process, you must activate the new settings for each of your designs. If you have published a lot of designs, it makes sense to convert your bestsellers first. If you do not activate the settings, you can only adjust the metadata and deactivate your designs.

We recommend that you quickly activate your designs for the new process in order to benefit from the new features and always enjoy the best possible sales opportunities.

Do you also have a Spreadshop?

The publishing journey for your Spreadshop remains unchanged. If you upload designs to the marketplace, you will see the new process, while everything remains the same in the Spreadshop.

We make this difference because as a Spreadshop Partner you have more personal responsibility for your designs and the products sold in the shop. You should of course be able to retain this responsibility.
